I had a few extra feet of wire on the solar array output. So of course I needed to make a sweet 1kW @ 129 volt arc. The arc can pretty much be sustained forever since the solar panels are basically constant current devices and won't be harmed by the short circuit. Because the current is limited the circuit breakers in the array combiner won't trip.
