The Midnite Solar / Magnum remote display bracket was modified to mount to the wire gutter.

It works! The new Eagle Bluff sign is lit.

Inside of Mitnite Solar array combiner.

MX60. Fitting five #6's through the offset nipple was a little tight.

Junction box at the base of the tower. The big black wires are the 24 volt generator output. The small black and blue cables are for the anemometers and wind vane. The green block is an 8Y splitter.

Current transformer installed inside the Magnum inverter. It fit so nicely! The arrow points towards the source.

Inside of the Midnite Solar E-Panel. It's getting more crowded. In the upper left is the Watt Node. It measures the power and energy output from the inverter.

Battery side of the shed. The dump load resistors are visible in the upper part of the shed. Off to the left is the poly tubing and burried wire that goes back to the dorm.

Temporary wiring to the resistor. The mounting brackets are CNC milled 6061 aluminum.

Progress continues on the electronics. Basic data logging equipment is now installed.

Overview of the site looking west. The bright dot in the distance is the sign lite. You can see the disturbed soil from the trench to the dorms.

I had a few extra feet of wire on the solar array output. So of course I needed to make a sweet 1kW @ 129 volt arc. The arc can pretty much be sustained forever since the solar panels are basically constant current devices and won't be harmed by the short circuit. Because the current is limited the circuit breakers in the array combiner won't trip.
